Approximately 347 miles south of Quito, the capital of Ecuador, you’ll find the little town of Lentag, a quiet village surrounded by picturesque mountain slopes and lush open spaces, far removed from the urban jungle. Lentag is the type of place where time seems to go by a little bit slower, you get to enjoy mild weather, and where fresh mountain air and miles and miles of rugged, verdant landscape are spread out as far as the eye can see.

The little town of Lentag is just 37.1 miles and less than an hour away from Cuenca, Ecuador’s third largest city and the capital of Azuay Province. It is also around four hours away from the port city of Guayaquil, the country’s largest city and its commercial heart. Nearby communities include Santa Isabel Canton, San Fernando and Girón.

The nearest airport from Lentag is Aeropuerto Mariscal Lamar (the Mariscal Lamar Airport). It is a medium-sized airport that’s located in La Castellana Cuenca, which is around 42 miles northeast of Lentag.

One of the interesting attractions in Lentag is Parque Extremo, an extreme sports park that features motor cross, rallying, F1 and other extreme vehicle sports where one can participate or be a spectator.
